“Fragmentation 4745 (The Happiest 4745 of Mine) ”
HKADC Overseas Cultural Exchange Project Grant, 2023
A mix media project that tells the story of the demolition of my childhood neighbourhood.
My happiest 13 years of childhood were spent with my grandmother there, who shaped who Iam today as a fashion designer and visual artist. Applying with photogram images which the process is through contact with related objects, representing the warm touch and feeling of my childhood memory from my grandma . While the images shown on ceramic are the remains fm the demolished site at the present stage to symbolise the passing and heritage. the ceramic are processes in the dry bone firing , generating a temperature of 871–982 degrees, the temperature for cremation, as a tribute to my grandmother.
"Who are WE"
This is my first series of instant photos in life.
By exploring this new medium over different perspective, researching how psychical,
psychological distance and relationship affecting our daily connection.
What is our purpose in this life related to the society within the humanity.
"The Swiss Alps"
This trip to the Swiss Alps is the last trip before the New Normal begins.
With my background raising over the subtropical climate of the northeast and southwest affected by monsoons, this trip aroused my interest in social issues and humanities to a purely geographical theme.
